I’m “in transition” following 12 years as General Manager of WMUB, the NPR station of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In March 2009 Miami eliminated about 75 jobs, including the entire staff of WMUB. I have a Ph.D. in English Literature and taught college English for a few years; but my career path has been in public radio, where I’ve worked to strengthen under-performing stations in operations, programming, audience growth and fundraising.

I’m seeking a position that will let me draw on my strengths in non-profit management, communications in multiple branches of media, and experience in lifelong learning. I’m a learner as well as a teacher, having just taken business courses in Six Sigma Yellow Belt training and a rigorous professionals in transition course at the University of Cincinnati School of Business.
